I would like to add one more cure for diabetes, which were followed by our forefathers as a medicine....
"KADALAZHINJAN", it is a root stick, which is available in most of the nattu marundhu kadai, which is a very good medicine for diabeties.
Some people will find it dificult to drink the ladies finger saoked water as it is sticky and create aversion by seeing it, but it will not be the case with this wonderful medicine.
I give the process how to make this medicine, which is very very simple.
1. Take one root of kadalazhinjan and soak in a 2 liter water for over night or for half an hour.
2. Bring to boil this for about half an hour, by which time the water will become half the quantity.
3. Wait till it become normal / cold.
4. Mix it in the ratio of 1:1 and have it as drinking water instead of normal water.
5. The water will be clear and in light brownish colour, ouderless and no difference in taste.
The above ratio is good for people who are having tablets for diabeties, by continously having it, it will help them to reduce the intake of tablets.
In case of people having injection daily, they can take this mixture without mixing it with water.
People whoever takes this kashayam can able to feel the difference from day one.
This has shown remarkable results with all the people to whom it has been recomended and been following regularly.
Hope this will help the people with diabeties to overcome their daily ordeal of medicines.

CURE FOR DIABETES:
There are 2 home remedies for Diabetes. One is Ladies Finger and the other is Black Tea.
BLACK TEA: Due to high medication, the organ that is worst affected is the Kidney. It has been observed that Black Tea (tea without milk, sugar or lemon) is good for the Kidney. Hence a cup of black tea every morning is highly advisable.
The Process:
1. Boil water along with the tea leaves (any tea leaves will do).
2. Drink the concoction without addingmilk, sugar or lemon.
The Cure:
Black Tea will help in enhancing the function of the kidney, thereby not affecting it more.
LADIES FINGER or OKRA:
Ladies finger is considered to be a good home medicine for diabetes.
The Process:
1. Slit the ladies finger into 2 halves vertically and soak it in water overnight.
2. The next morning, remove the ladies fingers and drink the water, before eating your breakfast.
The Cure:
After the ladies fingers are soaked overnight in the water, you can observe that the water becomes sticky in the morning. This sticky water is considered to be good for people who suffer from Diabetes.

It is a good suggestion but can you suggest the where to get the few rare things given?
Not available in few Naatu Marunthukkadai, can you suggest any particular shop in Madras?

Thanks for the compliments.
In madras it is available in "Dabba chetti Kadai" or some call it as "Kungumam Kadai" in mylapore near kapaleshwarar temple, and nattu marundu shops in west mambalam, nanganallur. its price range around Rs. 50 per qtr kg.
name in tamil is "கடல் அழிஞ்சான்".
Earlier it use to be available only in mylapore, now it is available in many other parts in chennai.
Initially try to take it at 1: 1 ratio mixed with water, then based on your confort or feeling u can reduce the mix ratio and take this.
