    Yuddha Kaanda Sargas 82

    Yuddha Kaanda - Sarga 82
In this Sarga, Hanumān appeals to all the Vānara chiefs to fight back. He restores their spirits and leads the fight. After successfully putting a check on the Rākshasa forces led by Indrajit, Hanumān asks the Vānaras not to attempt to make any further advances, as Seetā, for whose sake the war is fought, is no more. He suggests that they should go to Rāma and Sugreeva to report the matter and do what they decide as the appropriate course of action. Indrajit then goes to the shrine of Nikumbhila and offers oblations of flesh and blood into fire, for the prosperity of the Rākshasas.
