    Yuddha Kaanda - Sarga 77
In this Sarga, Nikumbha is outraged at his brother's death and jumps into the fray with a huge Parigha, at the very sight of which everyone becomes scared. Only Hanumān dares make a stand against Nikumbha, who hurls that Parigha at him, which gets shattered upon hitting his chest. In the duel that ensues between them, Hanumān twists Nikumbha's neck and pulls his head out. All the Vānaras shout in joy at the death of Nikumbha.

It is said that Japanese animation stories take inspiration from the Rāmāyaṇa, which could be true, as the description in these three Ṡlōkas, like many others elsewhere, is bound to fire up the imagination of visual artists.
