Kishkindha Kaanda - Sarga 47
In this Sarga, the Vānara captains go in every direction in search of Seetā, searching all the places as instructed by Sugreeva.
At the end of a month’s search, the search parties that went in the easterly, northerly and westerly directions return, unable to find Seetā.
They report to Sugreeva, in the presence of Rāma, that Seetā could not be found in any of those directions. They express their confidence that Hanumān would find Seetā in the southerly direction in which she had been carried off.
