Kishkindha Kaanda - Sarga 19
In this Sarga, Tārā comes to know that Vāli was killed by Rāma. Coming out of the city, she sees Vānaras fleeing as if they were chased by the arrows of Rāma.
They suggest to her to go back and fortify the city and install Aṅgada on the throne, so that all of them could rally behind him, before the Vānaras, who were mistreated earlier by them, take over the fort.
Tārā tells them that she does not care about her son or kingdom when her lord, husband, is dead. She goes past them and past Rāma and Lakshmaṇa, to Vāli who lay on the ground, and cries.
Sugreeva also feels terrible seeing her cry and Aṅgada who had just come.
