    Sri Ramanavami

SriRama Raama Raameti Rame Raame Manorame
    Sahasranaama Tattulyam Raamanama Varanaanane

Sri Rama Navami is celebrated on the ninth day of the Hindu Month of Chaitra (Chaitra shudda Navami). The day of SriRama Navami is the final day of the nine day celebrations of Vasanta Navaratri.

Sri Rama Navami festival is celebrated with great religious fervour and devotion, especially in the abode of Sitarama Temple at Bhadrachalam of Khammam District of Andhra Pradesh, as "Sree Sitarama Kalyana Mahotsav". This celebration at Bhadrachalam attracts as many as three lakhs of devotees every year. It is celebrated as the wedding ceremony between Lord Rama and Sita, as a role play where every aspect of human feelings is covered.

Bhadrachala Rama is unique at least in 2 aspects :

1.Only in Bhadrachalam in Andhra pradesh, Lord Sri Rama has four arms and no where else as His Bhakta Bhadra visualised Him as Sri Maha Vishnu hence four arms.

    2. Sitadevi sitting very proudly on His left thigh has 3 Mangala Sutras, one from her father Janaka, one from her Dasaratha her Father in law and the third one is from Rama Dasu, the most devoted Bhakta of Sri Rama who constructed SriRama Temple at bhadrachalam. No where else these unique feature are seen even today.

Bhadrachalam Rama is unique in one more way. He is holding Shanka in his right hand (usually He holds in His left hand) and holding Chakra in His left hand (usually in right hand).
