Yuddha Kaanda Sargas 92
Yuddha Kaanda - Sarga 91
In this Sarga, Lakshmaṇa, Hanumān, Indrajit, Jāmbavān and the chiefs of the Vānara army go to Rāma and tell him that Indrajit had been slain by Lakshmaṇa. Rāma is extremely happy and applauds Lakshmaṇa, saying that with the slaying of Indrajit, who is like Rāvaṇa's right hand, the battle is all but won, and that he would slay Rāvaṇa once he comes out with all his forces.
He instructs Sushēṇa to treat Lakshmaṇa’s, Vibheeshaṇa’s and all others’ wounds. Sushēṇa heals everyone with powerful herbs.
Everyone is happy, relieved of their wounds and pains.
Yuddha Kaanda - Sarga 92
In this Sarga, Rāvaṇa's ministers report to him the news of the death of Indrajit, his son. He cries piteously, oppressed by the grief for his son. His grief turning into rage, he thinks of killing the real Seetā, unlike his son, who killed a phantom Seetā to deceive the Vānaras. His well-wishers seek to stop him, but in vain.
Rāvaṇa goes to the Aṡōka pleasance and Seetā cries, seeing him come with a sword in hand. She fears that she might be killed. She wonders whether Rāma and Lakshmaṇa have already been killed. Meanwhile, Supārṡwa, a minister with sound ethics, counsels Rāvaṇa, saying that it does not befit him, the younger brother of Vaiṡravaṇa, who has studied Vedas, to kill a woman. Rāvaṇa, heeding that counsel, goes back.

You have completed reading 18448 Ṡlōkas out of ~24,000 Ṡlōkas of Vālmeeki Rāmāyaṇa.

It seems that this wicked one is going to kill me
from the way he himself is rushing upon me in rage,
as if I, who have a protector, do not have one.
