Rituals To be Performed for a Brahamachary (who expired)

My younger brother's ONLY son, aged 34, a brahmachary, expired a couple of days ago. The kartha will be the father (that is my younger brother) - am I correct? What are the rituals to be performed for the departed soul? Should the 10th Day, 12th Day, Subham (13th Day), Maasikams, Varushaptikam, annual srathams etc to be performed by the kartha ?

We are Smartha Iyers, Yajur Veda, Aapasthamba Sutra.
