    What are things that are allowed/permitted by shastras to perform thirumanjanam to salagrama moorthis at home. Is honey and panchamirtham etc and other materials which are allowed to vigraha moorthis is also permitted for salagrama sila moorthis.

    As per our elders,
    Thirumanjanam can be done only with milk for sAlagrama murthy;
    Panchamrutham, honey etc. can be used while doing thirumanjanam for pancha loga vigrahams.
