can srartham for father be preponed ?

can srartham for father be preponed ? some said , that those who have thuvathasi thithi can be performed on thasami. is that true? pl advise.

Many things are getting changed according to convenience.

But, shradha thithi can not be changed for any reason as per my limited knowledge.
