Masa Pirapu Tarpam observance and rules

Namaskaram Swami,


I live in Omaha, NE (USA). I like to know when to observe the Masa Pirapu Tarpanam. In Calendar it says that Sakramana is @ 20:11 (8:11 PM) on January 13.


The Sunrise and Sunset for that day is 07:49 AM and 17:16 (5:16 PM).


Do we need to observe the Masa Pirapu Tarpanam on 13th or 14. Please clarify.


If you could write article on this it will be helpful.

Sri:
As it is Uthrayana Punyakalam which happens after the end of Dhakshinayanam
normally the practice is doing it on next day after getting uththaraynam will be perfect.
Also, the punyakaalam vyapthi also will be more on next day while comparing with the previous day.
