Can u pl let me know what is the right age for upanayanam? Is it to be done in odd or even age? How the age to be calculated? Is it from garbam or birth? Also what will be the right month

Sorry for writing further. People say that as per shastras, the Upanayanm is to be perfomer in the even year like 6,8 etc. including Garbhavasam. Hence it should be odd age like 5,7, 9 in the earthly sense is to be chosen. Since your reply is not clear whether we can perform upanayanam for our brother's son show is running 8th year (ie. as per shashtras, including the garbhavasam it becomes 9, even year). Please do not get angry. Kindly clarify, swamin.
