Tharpanam & other daily rituals

Suggested time for tharpanam is after madyanam. However due to the present working situation Vadyaras' say you can do it early also (somebody suggested after 8:30 or 9 AM). Most of us are doing daily pooja, slogam etc after sandyavandanam. My doubt is whether the tharpanam can be performed after the nitya poojas etc. or tharpanam takes the preference before nitya poojas (nityakarmanushtangal).

Based on my little knowledge , If it is a brahma yagna tharpanam , it is okay to do it after pooja. else tharpanam is first.
