காசிக்கு போவோர்!
காசிக்கு போவோர் தம்பதியராகத்தான் போக வேண்டுமா?
தம்பதியராகப் போவதுதான் விசேஷம். கங்கை முதலான புண்ணிய நதிகளில் நீராட சில நியதிகள் உண்டு. ஒன்று மனைவியின் கையைப் பிடித்துக் கொண்டு நீராட வேண்டும். அல்லது மகனின் கையைப் பிடித்துக்கொண்டு நீராட வேண்டும். இருவரும் இல்லாத பட்சத்தில் பசுமாட்டின் வாலைப்பிடித்துக் கொண்டாவது நீராட வேண்டும். இம்மூன்றிலும் தம்பதியராக நீராடுவதே உத்தமம் என்று சாஸ்திரங்கள் கூறுகின்றன.

This doubt was there for a long time for me. I didn't get any satisfactory reply. Thanks for the answer.

I have two more doubts.

1. One who has been adopted by others, can do srardam in Kasi for his biological parents? and if so can he perform alone or he has to go with his brothers? (sons of his biological parents)?

2. can one perform Srardam for others like in laws, Guru or guru pathini, uncles and aunts and for family friends in Kasi separately or only pindadhan to be done while performing srardam for parents at kasi?

Will be very thankful if some one can clarify my doubt.
