Thanks both of you padmanaban mama and gopalan mama. These are the basic things which we do. I should have mentioned it clearly. Ok. My doubt is does the 5 number of people include the kalam elai also? If so, should we invite 4 people(including one kanya elai)? so, finally 1 kalam elai, 1 kanya elai and 3 sumangali elai. Am I right?

Yes, you are right,
Pondugal ilai can be 3 or 5 or 7 according to your convenience;apart from 1 Kalam Ilai , 1 Kanya Ilai.

with the help of Sasthrigal suitable Subha Day can be selected.
