Born and raised in an Iyer family,I have seen our customs and traditions being followed and festivals celebrated with fanfare right from childhood.Religious tolerance was high.My grandmother in her nine yards saree with me tagging along would go to the local church to light candles and pray.I am lucky to have married into a like minded family.Today, I celebrate almost every festival in the calander and my children have a hang about all cultural and religious events.Sharing with this group and le
