    Days to avoid

    Respected Swamin,

    In our family a death occured two days ago; some say that we should not visit that house on Saturdays; some say "on Mondays" ; some others say we should not visit on Tuesdays; yet others say "on the 9th day"

    I am confused. Will you or any members kindly clarify the Shastra?

    Sorry for the delayed response due to some Muhurtham works in our family.

    In our family a death occured two days ago; some say that we should not visit that house on Saturdays; some say "on Mondays" ; some others say we should not visit on Tuesdays; yet others say "on the 9th day"

    It is said to avoid only Monday and 9th day.
