Super script and subscript

Dear Sri Moderator swami,
A few days back you asked about typing superscript and subscripy. There is an easy keyboard shortcut
CTL+SHIFT+= for supercript
CTRL+= for suscript
for example
சப்த³ ம்
சப்த₃ ம்
But this shortcut does not work in this forum. It works fine in word and other applications
