Make the Brahmin community as Business community. It's not wrong to take non-veg; when fighting with animals. Unless required do not fight with any body. Strength in body will be seen in the physical work. So, Have good Physic. Choose one line of business mostly so that one could assist another. Be a united community with understanding. But, At the same time do not hesitate anybody unless you find harm in their actions. keep the snake in the pocket after taking its teeth.

The views expressed in the forum on the solution in revolution in Brahmin's life look very odd and it can never bring any solution.With whom we are going to fight after taking Non-veg food?With Govt? with other community people? With politicians?
Think of an average Brahmin's life two decades ago and now how much economically it has come up in recent times.This is because of education only and the previous generation fought hard to sustain and the present generation is enjoying the fruit of it.Not a single family of Brahmin is in TN which has no member in US,UK or In Australia.Thanks to the dollar inflow the status has improved.
When one door is closed God opens the other door!

Dear TKP Swamin,
Thanks for expressing your view of today brahmins status.

I fully agree with all your opinion but except the abroad chances.

Our community is developed for better than two decades above, but it is possible for only families
who are able to educate their children like B.E, B.Tech, M.C.A etc. and it was possible for parents
residing in towns and cities.
Some about 20 to 25% of brahmin boys are not cultivated well and they are mingled with other people and doing
some cycle shop, bike mechanic, electrician, plumber, bank attenders, peons, courier boys, civil contracts, welding shops, lath workshop etc. etc. They are still struggling to come up and lot of boys are not able to find their spouse due to this reason.

Some other 25 to 35% brahmins of ordinary gradutes like B.A, B.Sc, B.Com, BBA, BCA, Poly technique, ITI are working in private sectors and getting only less than 10 thousand per month.

About 10% of brahmins are working as school teachers and 5% are industrialists.

So, I can accept only about 25 to 30% of guys are having abroad jobs.
Out of that very few are returning to India and all others are settling there itself.

I fully endorse your views. Not all the brahmin boys are able to pursue higher studies abroad and settled down there ; only 10% of the community. Rest
are content with the jobs that they could get in India; again there are cases where poor brahmin boys cannot get higher incomes to support a large family with
dependants. As you rightly say I have seen many brahmin boys earn as low as 3000 to 5000 rupees per month with no fringe benefits such as PF,bonus,gratuity
etc.Just imagine if there are girls of marriageable age with old parents with no savings .This is the plight of poor brahmin boys. No one comes forward to
help the poor brahmin families in case of dire need such as marriage or upanayanam and education. We only gloat over the achievements of our
sons and daughters or grandsons abroad and never give thought to the uplift of our poor community children.

அடியேன் சொந்த வாழ்க்கையில் ஆதரிப்போர் இல்லாமல் நிறைய துன்பப்பட்டிருக்கிறேன்.
இதனால்தான் ஓரளவுக்கு தன்னிறைவு பெற்றவுடன் நம்மைப்போல் சிரமப்படும் நம்மினத்தைச்
சேர்ந்த இளைஞர்களுக்கு நம்மால் இயன்ற உதவிகளைக் கண்டிப்பாகச் செய்யவேண்டும் என்ற
எண்ணம் ஏற்பட்டது. எனவேதான் 1990ல் ஶ்ரீவைஷ்ணவ கேந்த்ரம் என்ற அமைப்பை உருவாக்கி
சம்பாதிக்கும் பணத்தில் கணிசமான தொகையை பிறரின் முன்னேற்றத்திற்கு உதவுதிலேயே செலவிட்டுச்
செயல்பட்டு வந்திருக்கிறேன்.
12க்கு 10 என இரு சிறிய அறைகளில் 9 கம்ப்யூட்டர்களை வாங்கிப்போட்டு இரு வருடங்களில் 60க்கும் மேற்பட்ட இளைஞர்களுக்கு அடிப்படைக் கம்ப்யூட்டர் கல்வியை கற்றுக்கொடுத்துள்ளேன். (மாதம் 100 ரூபாய் மட்டுமே கட்டணம் - கன்ஸ்யூமபிள் செலவிற்காக).
11 வருடங்கள் திருமண ஜாதக பரிவர்தனை ஸேவை மூலம் ஒரு லட்சத்திற்கும் மேற்பட்ட ஐயர், ஐயங்கார் வரன்களுக்கு பொருத்தமான ஜாதகங்களை கம்ப்யூட்டர் மூலம் தேர்வு செய்து வழங்கி ஸேவை செய்துள்ளோம்.

தற்போது அதுபோன்ற ஸேவை செய்ய வாய்ப்பில்லாமையால் இணையதளம் மூலம் இலவசமாக அந்த ஸேவையைச் செய்துவருகிறோம்.
கடந்த பத்து ஆண்டுகளாக ஶ்ரீபரந்தாமன் பஞ்சாங்கம் நன்கொடை மூலம் அச்சிட்டு இலவசமாக அனைவருக்கும் விநியோகித்து வருகிறோம்.

இதற்கெல்லாம் அடைப்படைக் காரணம் நம் ஸமுதயாத்தைச் சேர்ந்தவரகளின் முன்னேற்றத்திற்கு நாம் ஏதாவது வகையில் உதவியாக இருக்கவேண்டும் என்பதுதான்.

இதற்காக ஒரு மாதாந்திர பத்திரிகையும் துவங்கினேன். அந்தப் பத்திரிகையின் முதல் ப்ரதியின் இறுதி பக்கத்தின் அடியேன் குறிக்கோள்பற்றி கீழே ஸ்கேன் செய்து வழங்கியுள்ளேன்.



ஒரு கட்டத்தில் அனைவரும் யாராவது ஒரு பொதுநல ஸேவையாளரை தேர்வுசெய்து அவர் மூலம் ஸமுதாயத் தொண்டு செய்தால் நம் ஸமுதாயத்தைச் சேர்ந்தவர்களை நாம் முன்னேற்ற முடியும்.

நம் ஸமுதாயத்தைச் சேர்ந்தவர்களை நாம் முன்னேற்றினால்தான் நாளை நம் ஸந்ததியினருக்கு
தகுதியுள்ள நம் ஸமுதாயத்தைச் சேர்ந்தவர்களுடன் ஸம்பந்தம் ஏற்படுத்தித்தர இயலும்.

What an altruistic personality you are who worked very hard to come up in life and who has been and continues helping and encouraging

poor young brahmin boys within your limited income. You are an embodiment of mercy full of sympathy and generosity in this ego-centric

world. There may be brahmin industrialists and businessmen who may be helping poor brahmin boys but these may be only a handful

of few. Even then like yourself others who have made it to a reasonable standing today must ponder over this matter seriously

and come forward with proposals or financial assistance to you swamin with the main and primary purpose of helping

poor brahmin boys in education, employment, upanayanam etc. It is entirely due to your relentless and concerted efforts and dedication

that you have a large base today not only throughout India but abroad too. May the Lord of Seven Hills endow you with robust health,

happiness and uninterrupted service to the community.
