Swan - Sanskrit subhashitam
अनन्तशास्त्रं बहु वेदितव्यम्,
अल्पश्च कालो बहवश्च विघ्ना:।
यत्सारभूतं तदुपासितव्यम्,
हंसो यथा क्षीरमिवाम्बुमिश्रम्।।
जानने योग्य वाङ्मय बहुत अधिक है और समय बहुत अल्प है तथा विघ्न अनेक हैं। इसलिए जो अपने लिए महत्वपूर्ण हो, उसी साहित्य का अध्ययन करना चाहिए, जैसे पानी में मिले दूध में से हंस दूध को ग्रहण कर लेता है।
Knowable literature is very high and time is very short and hurdles are many. Therefore, for those who are important to us, we should study the same literature. As like the swan, from mixed milk in the water, accepts milk.
