ஆதார் அட்டை கட்டாயமில்லை : உச்ச நீதிமன்றம

மத்திய, மாநில அரசுகள் வழங்கும் சேவைகளைப் பெறுவதற்கு ஆதார் அட்டை கட்டாயமில்லை என்று உச்ச நீதிமன்றம் திங்கட்கிழமை தீர்ப்பளித்துள்ளது.

கர்நாடக உயர் நீதிமன்றத்தின் ஓய்வு பெற்ற நீதிபதி புட்டசுவாமி தாக்கல் செய்த பொது நலன் மனுவில், விரும்பினால் பெற்றுக் கொள்ளலாம் என்று கூறிவிட்டு, ஆதார் அட்டையை மத்திய அரசு தற்போது கட்டாயமாக்குகிறது.


திருமணத்தைப் பதிவு செய்ய மகாராஷ்டிராவில் ஆதார் அட்டை அவசியம் என்று அம்மாநில அரசு உத்தரவிட்டுள்ளது. எனவே, சுதந்திரம், சம உரிமை போன்றவற்றுக்கு எதிராக ஆதார் அட்டையை ரத்து செய்ய வேண்டும் என்று கோரியிருந்தார்.


மனுவை விசாரித்த உச்ச நீதிமன்ற நீதிபதிகள், பி.எஸ். சௌஹான் மற்றும் எஸ்.ஏ. பாப்டே கொண்ட அமர்வு, அரசு வழங்கும் சேவைகளைப் பெற ஆதார் அட்டை அவசியம் என்று பொதுமக்களை மத்திய, மாநில அரசுகள் கட்டாயப்படுத்தக் கூடாது என்று கூறியுள்ளனர்.


மேலும், இந்தியாவில் சட்ட விரோதமாகக் குடியேறியிருப்பவர்களுக்கு ஆதார் அட்டை வழங்கக் கூடாது என்றும் உச்ச நீதிமன்றம் அறிவுறுத்தியுள்ளது.

ஆதார் அட்டையை ரத்து செய்ய வேண்டும் என்று கோரியிருப்பது குறித்து விசாரிக்கப்படும் என்றும் தீர்ப்பில் குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளனர்.

நாடு முழுவதும் உள்ள அனைத்து குடிமகன்களுக்கும் ஆதார் அட்டை வழங்க மத்திய அரசு ரூ.50 ஆயிரம் கோடி ரூபாய் ஒதுக்கீடு செய்து அதற்கான பணிகள் நடந்து வரும் நிலையில், உச்ச நீதிமன்றம் இவ்வாறு தீர்ப்பளித்திருப்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

New Delhi: In a significant development, the Supreme Court on Monday ruled that Aadhar cards are not mandatory even as various state governments insist on making it compulsory for a range of formalities, including marriage registration, disbursal of salaries and provident fund among other public services.

A bench of Justices BS Chauhan and SA Bobde said, "The Centre and state governments must not insist on Aadhar cards from citizens before providing them essential services."

On the other hand Gas Companies are mentioning that to get relief in the
gas price i.e. at the concessional price, Aadhar Card is essential. Some of
the Gas Distributors have asked for references of Aadhar Card and asking us
to submit it to the respective Banks based on the details furnished in the
form while seeking the issue of Aadhar Card. What would happen now!!

After Supreme Court order, Gas Agencies can not ask for Aadhar Card to give Gas Cylinder at the subsidized rates.

Please never give your Bank account details to anyone, as there are chances of misusing the details and take away money from your Bank account.
