Dear Members,
We are pleased to inform you that our plans for Periva Jayanthi Celebrations has taken a firm shape, and is to be celebrated with great grandeur at the Kanchi Mahaswamy Anantha Mandapam, adjacent to Sri Anantha Padmanabha Swamy Temple, Adyar, Chennai on the 25th May 2013. The trustees of Dharma Paripalana Sabha have come forward to join us in this great celebration and we have decided to conduct this in a grand fashion, thanks to the Sabha.
The tentative program is to commence Laksharchana at 0600 AM in the morning, which would go on till about 0100 or 0200 PM, followed by Prasadam distribution. We are looking at adding some speeches & Bhajans by the evening, which are works under way.
In addition to these, we are also having a free eye camp for the poor (courtesy Agarwal eye hospital), and free distribution of bicycles and three-wheelers for the physically challenged people, all happening as part of this celebration.
We request all of you to come in large numbers and obtain Periva's blessings. We also require volunteers to assist us with the Pooja arrangements, crowd management, lunch service, distribution of prasadam etc. To confirm participation and volunteering, we have published a survey form which we request you to complete.
Request you all to take part in this grand occasion. Please take a minute to fill up the below form.
