When Mahaperiyava visited Varanasi, there were few local sanyasis, who wanted to give some tough time to Periyava, asked a question to Him ”When there are so many people in this country who have not accepted you as guru, how can you be called jagadguru ?”.
Then comes the real Jagadguru’s response, “I don’t know what your definition of Jagadguru is. In my world , anyone who treats this jagad as a guru as it teaches so many things on a daily basis, is a jagadguru.” with a smile on His face.
All those sanyasis were speechless!
