    Cleaning your Home

Yes, the name Swedish Death Cleaning is off-putting but it’s kind of meant to jar you into action to decrease the burden on your family.

    What to Hold on to

You’ve kept certain items around the house as a reminder of an experience but you don’t need to have the object to trigger a memory. Your mind still holds onto the trip or special day you had that led you to keep a souvenir.

    Remember Nobody Wants Your Stuff

“The rules of death cleaning are simple : “It’s all about losing everything you don’t love or use. And not being afraid to talk about it.” One way to become less afraid is to understand that death cleaning is not reserved for the elderly, despite its name. “Anyone can do it at any age. The idea is to organize your life and make it run smoother.”

just Imagine , the Number of Deity Picture you hold in your Puja Room, are neither wanted by your Children nor by your House maids after your period.. It is hard to believe, even your Parents, Grand Parents Pictures never going adore the walls of your Children's home.

There are items in every home , shifted from one loft to other, but remains there all the time without use or even a second look, can be easily given to anyone who will use them

Keep minimum stuff in your Wardrobe , so that after your period, it can be donated to who ever willing to use it.

I have seen many families keep even old foot wares , old Stitching Machines, old Pen stands etc etc... remember no body wants these stuff after your period, Donate them if you are lucky to find someone like to use them when you are active.

“Do not ever imagine that anyone will wish—or be able—to schedule time off to take care of what you didn’t bother to take care of yourself. No matter how much they love you, don’t leave this burden to them.”
“The secret of happiness, you see, is not found in seeking more, but in developing the capacity to enjoy less.”

Death cleaning is a lesson about life " that relationships and experiences are what matter, not the stuff we fill our homes and lives with"

As we approach the twilight of our lives, memories become important companions.

“Memories are roses in our winter.”

We can declutter and embrace minimalism at any age. Doing so will unburden you, allow more time for loved ones, and create an abundance of memories to cherish for a lifetime.

    God Bless you all
