Vaikunta loka description
Vaikunta loka is a perfect square of 28 crore yojanas. South is bhubaga, which is 2.5 crores yojanain width. To the north is durgabaga, again 2.5 crores yojana in width.inbetween is sribaga. This part is the unmixed sattva element. This sky is non materialistic amd lakshmi herself. It is called pradhana vyoma. The viraja river divides the material sky from the non material sky. Needless to mention, right in the middle of it is sri Hari's superb mansion.
The gap between bhuloka and vaikunta is 25 crore yojanas. The corners of the square base touch the shell of Brahmanda. The gold and gems are not like on bhuloka. sridevi herself is in such forms. So we cannot even imagine the grandeur.
There are 41 gates to enter the palace of sri Hari. normally released souls only enter vaikunta. But mukhyaprana and bharathi devi, who are not released souls, have permission to cross viraja nadhi amytime. Such is their merits.
mukti or released souls is of four kinds. Sayujya, Salokya, sameepya and sarupya.
The fruit yielding trees are lakshmi (aprakruta) herself. If it is consumed, the fruits reappear again. When almighty can invest so much in material world, what to say about vaikunta. For the muktas, who are fully blessed with sri Hari , takjng different forms is not difficult at all.
Temples like srirangam and sriranga patna in mysore has this concept of viraja river and vaikunta with seven fortifications etc.,
